Tham Chomphon

Location: Ratchaburi Thailand

Arboretum. This cellar arboretum is located in the lay of Amphoe Chom Bung, 30 kilometers west of the provincial township accommodation. The cellar was originally called Tham Mutchalin; it is located dominion a mountain which is 191 meters noted situated control the township area. In the year 1895, King Chulachomklao and deb Si Phatcharin made a royal pilgrimage also they liked the pulchritude of this tunnel very much, thus, giving a higher propose to it, "Tham Chomphon". There are beautiful stalactites and stalagmites in the cave which also houses a medium sized Reclining Buddha. In front of the Comphon cellar lies an arboretum having various species of plants also trees. It is a profitable place for relaxing.
