Kuantan

Kuantan is the state capital of Pahang, on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. With over 500,000 people, Kuantan is the largest city on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. There are a number of places in and around Kuantan that are worth visiting.

The public transport system in Kuantan is poor (especially buses). It takes around 2 hours for a bus to complete its route back to its hub. Therefore it's better if you get around by taxi. Alternatively, you can rent a car from any of the car rental agencies.
