Bhuntar is a town and a nagar panchayat in Kullu district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The small village town of Bhuntar, in the Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh is home to less than 5,000 individuals in population, but is the main entrance into the District of Kullu. While Bhuntar sits directly at the Sangam of 'Beas and Parvati' Rivers, there is an amazing rush of pristine beauty all around the place. Lofty mountains, fast flowing rivers with low banks, springs flowing from the mountainside and chirping of birds give a wholesome dose of spectacular natural wilderness.With ancient temples dotting the tiny rustic township at Bhutar, it is also known for the famous Bushweshwar Temple in Bajaura village which is approx. 5 km. from the village of Bhuntar. The Bushweshwar Temple is known as the biggest and to most people, one of the most beautiful temples within the Valley of Kullu.
