Thuringia

Thuringia is a state of Germany, located in the central part of the country. It has an area of 16,171 square kilometers and 2.29 million inhabitants, making it the sixth smallest by area and the fifth smallest by population of Germany's sixteen states. The capital is Erfurt.

The state of Thuringia is generally safe. However, never leave your belongings such as wallets, luggage, and any other bags off you on the streets, you might get them stolen. And the polizei at the police station don't speak English well so they won't be too helpful even if you face the trouble.
