Paragliding in Turkey

Paragliding is a sport enjoyed by many people from all around the world and has over the years grown in to tandem paragliding. Tandem is when a fully qualified and licenced pilot flies together with a passenger. The pilot is in full control of his glider while the passenger sits comfortably in front enjoying the view and taking photographs.

Our sister company prides itself on the health and saftey of our passengers as well as thier enjoyment. Being a professional company they have researched in to many things to offer the highest standards and services. To keep to these standards we are working with five paragliding pilots who are all fully qualified and licenced. These pilots have been working in the area for many years and have extensive experience and skill. Each one can speak fluent English and while in the air with a passsenger gives a full explanation of what is happening and the places they can see.

Each customer will be supplied with clothing and helmet, and a full briefing of what will happen. They then take a 45 minute jeep ride up to the peak of Babadag mountain where they will be allocated a pilot and be again given instructions of what will happen. The actual flight will last 35 to 45 minutes.

Parachutes and equipment:

All of our gliders and equipment have been bought new and are of the highest standard. With each glider come two harnesses which is where the pilot and the passenger sit. Each harness has several safety belts which hold the pilot and the passenger in the seat comfortably. The harness itself is black and the safety belts are red. This has been done because the clothing worn by the pilot and the passenger is also black and it is easy to see that each belt has been closed correctly. There will be one person who will make the final check of all pilots and passengers safety belts before take off. Each glider is also carefully checked before and after each flight. All pilots and passengers are supplied with safety helmets and flying suits to protect the head and body. Again these are all purchased new.
