
Phnom Chisor is a temple of the Angkorian time at the top of a hill, a magnificent panorama which allows to discover the region. Phnom Chisor is constructed in brick of clay and stones, girders and frame are sculptured in wills. Phnom Chisor possesses registrations dated of the XIth century, and was called Suryagiri . A stair of more than 400 steps allows to reach Phnom Chisor.
Phnom Chisor was then known as Suryadri, 'the Mountain of the Sun' and due to the influence of Hinduism of that time, was
dedicated to Brahma, 'the Creator of the Universe'.
