
Hinchinbrook Island National Park is a national park in Queensland (Australia), 1240 km northwest of Brisbane. The park covers an area of 399 km2 and is the country's largest island national park. The park includes Hinchinbrook Island, Goold Island and the Hinchinbrook Channel.
The islands are a refuge for numerous endangered species of plants and animals like the Giant Tree Frog. Island habitats include one of the countries most biodiverse mangrove stands, sea grass beds, home to the dugong, in the Hinchinbrook Channel and tropical rainforests covering the mountainous interior.
